Monster Allergy, Sky Doll and me...

* I take the opportunity to talk about a project of mine, MONSTER ALLEGY, because there’s a bunch of interesting news…
Graphically conceived back in 2003 along with 3 other authors: Alessandro Barbucci , Katja Centomo and Francesco Artibani. It’s maybe my second best-selling project worldwide, after W.I.T.C.H.
At first it was bought by DISNEY , and in 2007 (finally!!) it got back to us.
But since a few years, Monster Allergy is mainly a cartoon, produce by Rainbow, Futurikom, Disney Channel and licensed by Warner Bros.

* Je profite de vous parler d'une des mes séries : MONSTER ALLEGY.
Car il y a quelques nouvelles intéressantes....
Graphiquement crée jadis, en 2003, en compagnie de autres 3 auteurs : Alessandro Barbucci , Katja Centomo e Francesco Artibani. C'est,peut-être ,mon deuxieme projet le plus vendu dans le monde, après W.I.T.C.H.
C'était ,au départ une licence avant tout DISNEY , mais a partir de décembre 2007 (finalement !!) les droits nous ont été restitué.Depuis quelques années, Monster Allergy est surtout un dessin animé produit par Rainbow, Futurikom, Disney Channel et enfin une licence Warner Bros.

* A true scoop: Monster Allergy was the first project “made in Europe" bought by the WARNER BROS.. he!he!he!
Well, in short it’s really a beautiful project, even if one of the most commercial I’ve ever created!
For Monster Allergy I’ve been character designer with Alessando, and of course I’m the mum of the colors, as always.
The first episode of the series (they were 29 in total) was drawn and colored just by Alessandro and me.
And finally a merchandising product really worthy and which I’m proud of: BOMBO BOX.
The company which produced this toy is UPPER DECK. Isn’t it beautiful?? ^___^

* Un vrai scoop : Monster Allergy a été le premier projet "Made en Europe" à avoir été achetéepar WARNER BROS... eh!eh!eh ! Bon, je peux finalement dire que c'est vraiment un bon projet, même si c'est un de plus commerciaux que j'ai créé !
Sur Monster Allegy j'ai été "characters designer" avec Alessandr et évidemment je suis la maman des couleurs,comme toujours.Le premier numero de la série (il y en tout 29 épisodes) a été dessiné mis en couleur par Alessandro et moi-même.Et voici un produit merchandising vraiment digne et duquel je suis trés fier : le BOMBO BOX.
Chez UPPER DECK. Il est super beau, non ?? ^___^

* How beautiful BOMBO is, with the cards inside its huge mouth!!
Do you know who inspired us to create Bombo? A modern, well-acquainted artist: Juan Miró, during a trip to Barcelona many years ago.

*N'est-il pas beau ce BOMBO, avec ses cartes à jouer dans sa énorme bouche ??
Savez-vous qui nous à inspiré pour créer Bombo ? Un artiste moderne trés connu : Juan Miró, lors d'un voyage à Barcelona il y à tant d'années...

* Here is another news; I’ll attend the Aix en Provence Festival, Rencontre du 9 Art this weekend, with my SKY DOLL series and SKY DOLL SPACE SHIP COLLECTION.
I’ll dedicate the book just on Saturday and on Sunday… come, there will be beautiful exhibitions!

* Une autre info : je serai au le Festival d'Aix en Provence, Rencontre du 9 Art cette week-end, pour ma série SKY DOLL e SKY DOLL SPACE SHIP COLLECTION.
Je dedicacerai le samedi et la dimanche...Venez, il y aura des expositions très belles !

* Finally, here are more images: two wonderful sketches by Matteo De Longis.
The first one is a study for his inner cover, and the second one is for one of the main characters of the story I wrote myself: the little gothic-lolita doll.

"Sky Doll Space Ship" -step 1-

* Not so long ago, a collective work of “Sky Doll”, my series with Alessandro Barbucci, was published.
It’s called "SKY DOLL SPACE SHIP COLLECTION."
For the ones who haven’t seen it yet, here are some images from the book.
In Autumn it will be published in the USA by Marvel , and in October the second volume "LACRIMA CHRISTI " will come out too.
This is the inside cover: the drawing is Alessandro’s, the color is mine.

* Il est sorti , il y a peu , un collectif de "Sky Doll", (la série que je rélise avec Alessandro Barbucci), dont le titre est : "SKY DOLL SPACE SHIP COLLECTION."
Et pour ceux qui ne l'auraient pas encore vu , voici quelques images du livre.
En automne , ce livre sortira aux USA , publié par Marvel.
Dans la même période , au mois d'octobre , nous sortirons en France le deuxieme volume qui sera intitulé : "LACRIMA CHRISTI".

Sky Doll Lacrima Christi

* Uscirà a breve il seguito del primo volume " Sky Doll Space Ship Collection" (uscito a maggio 2007) intitilato : "Lacrima Christi Collection".
Ci saranno, come sempre, 6 storie scritte da Alessandro Barbucci e da me.
Una di queste, "il Miracolo della Lampada" è del bravissimo Mikael Bourgouin.
Per voi delle belle anteprime della sua storia.
Gli altri 5 autori presenti saranno :G.Smudja, Khaled, E.Fernandez, Benjamin e A.Barbucci (ovvio!)
La sottoscritta farà anche le illustrazioni ( con Alessandro) e la grafica, sopportata sempre dal valido designer e artista M.De Longis.
Sarà presente alla fine , oltre il solito art book, anche una galleria di illustrazioni.

* Il sortira à bref suivi du premier volume "Sky Doll Space Ship Collection" (sorti à mai 2007) da le titre : "Lacrima Christi Collection".

* Here I am, back from Angouleme...
I’ve got lots of beautiful news that I’m going to tell you day by day… As usual, a great festival and many friends.The first: SKY DOLL , my series with A.Barbucci, will soon be published Marvel in the USA, in spring. If you want to keep yourselves up to date, here 's the Newsrama website, which talks about that.
In 2006 it was pre-published also in the Spring issue of Heavy Metal magazine.

* Et me voilà retournée d'Angouleme...
Avec beaucoups de belles nouvelles que je vous dirais jour pour jour...
Comme toujours un bel festival et pleins d'amies.La première new: SKY DOLL , ma serie avec A.Barbucci sortira pour Marvel en USA en printemps.Si vous voulez avoir des nouvelles en directe, ici le site Newsrama qui ne parle.
En 2006 il avait été prepublié même sur Heavy Metal (le nombre d'été).

* Il rosa è un colore chiave di Sky Doll...Lo odio, ma lo uso...
Effettivamente è davvero ipnotico e forte.E allora perchè no?

* Le rose est une couleur clé de Sky Doll... Je le deteste, mais je l'utilise.
Effectivement il est vraiment hypnotisant et fort..Et alors pourquoi pas ?

* E qui un surplus barocco: un custom di Noa, il personaggio principale di Sky Doll con una "Narae" a Japan Expo 2007 (Paris)
Il nostro personaggio funziona proprio bene anche con una dollina di 42 cm, no?

* Ecco qui la pagina pubblicitaria del Catalogo (appena uscito ) del QEE/SKY DOLL.
Il progetto è di Alessandro Barbucci ( come sempre ) e la realizzazione è della sottoscritta.Che fatica..Prende malissimo il colore sopra quel tipo di PVC. Ben 5 volte l'ho dovuto rifare..SIGH...
Abbiamo puntato decisamente a fare un gadget differente e un po' erotico.Perchè no?

* Voici la page publicitaire du Catalogue (à peine sorti) de QEE/SKY DOLL. Le projet est de Alessandro Barbucci (comme toujours) et la réalisation est la mienne. Quel fatigue....
Sur ce type de PVC prend vraiment mal le couleur . Bien 5 fois j'ai du rifare..SIGH...
Nous avons visé décidément de créer un gadgett différent et un peu erotique cette fois.Purquoi pas,non ?
