* I apologize that I am not often writing on this blog, but if I am not posting here, it simply means I am workgin a lot. And posting in multiple languages takes time and energy.
There is going to be many new things coming out in these next months of November and December. But you will have the chance to see the previews.

So, I wanted to share with you in the meantime other project that sum up to the ones I had previously spoke you about HERE and which are to be released in 2011 and 2012.

"Hey," I hear you say, "but that's Marie Antoinette !" Yes, she is.
And the artist who did the portrait is the great Benjamin Lacombe.
The Métamorphose Collection is enriched by this new project, this time about the life of one of the most known historical characters: the Queen of France.
The book concept is amazing. The idea is great and the work will be just as much as great.... But we're not scared!
And believe me, there will be many more surprises being released after this book.
And I repeat: it is not going to be just a simple book.

* Excusez moi , je ne suis pas souvent présente sur ce blog ,car le travail occupe le plus clair de mon temps. Faire un post en 3 langues différentes prend du temps et de l'énergie!
Il y a tant de nouveautés qui arrivent pour novembre et décembre...
Ne vous inquiétez pas , vous serez ici tenus au courant de tout en avant première...

Je voulez donc partager avec vous les nouveaux projets qui viendront s'ajouter aux précédents dont je vous avais déjà fait part ICI , et qui arriveront en 2011 et 2012.

"Hey"!Me direz-vous..."Mais c'est MARIE ANTOINETTE!"...Et bien oui...
L'artiste qui réalisera le projet n'est autre que le grand Benjamin Lacombe...
La Collection Métamorphose s'enrichit de ce nouveau projet , lié cette fois -ci à la vie de l'un des plus célèbres personnages historique : la reine de France...
Le concept du livre est ambitieux. L'idée est grande , et le travail à réaliser est énorme...
Mais cela ne nous fait pas peur!
Et croyez moi...Beaucoup de surprises liées à cet ouvrage suivront...
Cela ne sera pas "qu'un simple livre"...

* Scusate se non sono spesso su questo blog, ma se non passo di qui, è semplicemente perchè sto lavorando molto. E fare un post in più lingue prende del tempo e dell'energia.
Ci sono tantissime novità che arriveranno nel mese di novembre e dicembre.
Ma avrete modo di vedere tutto in anticipo.

Volevo farvi partecipi , quindi, nel frattempo, degli altri nuovi progetti che si aggiungono ai precedenti di cui avevo parlato QUI e che arriveranno per l'anno 2011 e 2012.

"Ehi", direte... "ma quella è Maria Antonietta ! "...Ebbene, si.
E l'artista che l'ha fatta è il grande Benjamin Lacombe.
La Collezione Métamorphose si arrichisce d'un nuovo progetto, questa volta legato alla vita d'uno dei più celebri personaggi storici : la regina di Francia.
Il concetto del libro è grande.L'idea è grande e il lavoro sarà tanto.. Ma non ci spaventa !
E credetemi, saranno molte sorprese che arriverranno successivamente a questo libro.
E ripeto : non sarà solo un semplice libro...

Cela s'intitule "Susine" , il y aura 3 opus...
Magistralement écrit par le merveilleux Bruno Enna ( "Coeur de Papier" ) , et illustré par Nénént (Clément Léfevre ).
Je suis vraiment très heureuse d'avoir la chance de connaître Clément.
Il s'agit là d'une personne rare et unique...
Il vous fera rêver avec ses images...

*And yes! ECO Book 2 at last is being published! Finally!
After the success of the first book (reprinted again this summer) the two authors, Guillaume Bianco and Jeremie Almanza are back again with the sequel of their heroine.
Here, you can see the character design of a new character, inspired by the plague doctors.

* Eh oui! ECO T2 arrive! Enfin!
Après le succès du premier épisode (de nouveau réimprimé cet été) , les deux auteurs , Guillaume Bianco et Jeremie Almanza se remettent au travail pour accompagner ensemble leur petite héroine...
Voici l'étude d'un nouveau personnage , clairement inspiré du Docteur de la Peste "de la " Commedia dell'Arte"...

* Eh, si ! Arriva ECO 2 !! Finalmente.
Dopo il successo del primo libro ( ristampato questa estate ancora ) i due autori , Guillaume Bianco e Jeremie Almanza ritornano con il seguito della loro eroina.
Qui, potete vedere lo studio d'un nuovo personaggi, direttamente ispirato dai dottori della peste.

* And now for a completely different project!
As I told you some time ago, I want to widen the collection to ALL styles.
This all will enrich my collection and your bookshelves... (!)
For me the only important thing still is: create nice stories all connected by the theme of metamorphosis and have fun while doing so with the authors themselves... Nothing else.
So to start this new adventure in the best of ways, I thought of the talented and unique Fabien Mense. The title of this new project is "Tadpole Dee"
I don't want to tell you anything more... for the time being!
And anyway, the character speak for themselves!

* Un projet très différent des précédents!
Comme je disais il y a quelques temps, j'ai l'intention d'élargir la collection à tous les styles pour! Cela l'enrichira , ainsi que vos bibliothèque!
À mon sens ,une seul chose importe : créer de belles histoires liées à la thématique de la métamorphose tout en se divertissant avec les auteurs lors de leur réalisation...
Rien d'autre...
Pour commencer au mieux cette aventure , j'ai pensé au talentueux et unique Fabien Mense. Le titre de son projet est "Tadpole Dee"
Je ne tiens pas à vous en dire plus...Pour le moment...
Les personnages parlent d'eux mêmes!

* Ed ecco un progetto diversissimo dai precedenti !
Come vi dicevo qualche tempo fa, voglio allargare la collezione a TUTTI gli stili.
Tutto questo arrichirà la collezione e la vostre biblioteche.. (!)
Per me resta importante solo una cosa : creare delle belle storie legate alla tematica della metamorfosi e divertirsi a falro con gli stessi autori...Nient'altro.
E per cominciare al meglio questa nuova avventura, ho pensato al bravissimo e unico Fabien Mense . Il titolo di questo progetto sarà è "Tadpole Dee"
Non voglio dirvi di più.. per ora.
E comunque i personaggi parlano già da soli !

* Enfin , pour finir en beauté , voici " Dans la Fôret" par Lionel Richerand.
Un vrai projet "à 360 °"...Une histoire magnifique narrée par le biais de la BD accompagné d' un livre encyclopédique...Deux livres réunis dans un unique coffret.
Un concept nouveau et très ludique , aussi bien pour les grands que pour les petits illustré avec l'incroyable univers de Lionel!
Les couleurs sont réalisées par le Studio Blinq qui avait déjà donné un aperçu de leur talent sur "Coeur de Papier" de Giovanni Rigano.

Bon j'espère que je vous aurai mis l'eau à la bouche!
À tres bientôt donc pour.....

The authors are Dimitri Vey and Manuel Arenas.
Yaxin is a fantasy and ecological fable.
A initiation trip of a young faun accompanied by the great Merlin.

* I'm back, after a few weeks of pure work and pure holidays.
I interchanged one with the other so that I wouldn't go mad, so now I'm back really in good shape to face this August of hard work I have ahead of me for this month.
I promised I would post something about END, my personal project with Anna Merli.
For those who don't know it yet, you will find HERE all of my project.

I can't and I don't want to annouce the release date for the book, because there are still too many things to be finished on my side. Anna has finished her part. There are just 2 pages left!
I want to ensure that we are really working hard in fact! And it's not always easy to be the author and manager of a Collection ( Metamorphose ) and of an Art Label ( Venusdea ) for the same publishing house. And to manage at least 20/25 artists at the same time!
I really would like to have 48 hours instead of 24, in fact... =__=
So please forgive me if I am not too often on this blog. But it's for this reason. I opened a Facebook official page, and quite easily I'm available every day to reply to questions. If you want, you can also follow me there...


* Me voici de nouveau après quelques semaines d'intense travail et de pures vacances.
J'ai alterné l'un et l'autre pour ne pas devenir folle , et je suis de retour en forme pour affronter cet intense mois de travail que sera août.
Comme promis ,quelques images de END , mon projet personnel avec Anna Merli.

Je ne veux et ne peux pas encore annoncer la sortie du livre , car j'ai encore trop de choses à terminer concernant ma partie.Anna a quasiment fini , il ne lui reste que 2 pages à faire.
Je peux vous assurer que nous travaillons d'arrache pied !
Il n'est pas toujours simple d'être à la fois auteur et directrice de collection (Métamorphose) et d'un label d'art ( Venusdea ) ,tout ça pour la même maison d'édition....
Et s'occuper d'au moins 20/25 auteurs en même temps! =__=
J'aimerais que les journées comptent 48 h et pas 24...
Tout ça pour vous dire de me pardonner si je suis un peu moins présente ces derniers temps...

It's my very first personal project after SKY DOLL and I'm not that sure of myself and I'm being very annoying, even if I have been publishing for 15 years!

* As most of you knows already, the book " Yaxin and the Faun Gabriel " by Dimitri Vey and Manuel Arenas was supposed to be released this summer, for the Métamorphose Collection.
Unfortunately, the release was postponed to the end of the summer, because of a delay of the authors. Routine accidents! Don't panic, then, if you don't find it in book shops from July, ok?
Because the first book of this beautiful series can be in your hands only starting in autumn.
I will very soon tell you the precise release date.

To make you mouth water a bit, here some of the gorgeous pages.
What else to say?
I think it's worth the waiting, isn't it?

* Comme la majeure partie d'entre vous le sait , "Yaxin et le faune Gabriel" de Dimitri Vey et Manuel Arenas devait sortir cet été , pour la Collection Métamorphose.
Hélas , le livre a dû être repoussé à la fin de l'été , à cause du retard des auteurs.
Un petit inconvénient de parcours , mais pas de panique donc si vous ne le trouvez pas dans les librairies au mois de Juillet, hein?
Car le premier livre de cette merveilleuse série sera entre vos mains dès septembre prochain.
Je vous communiquerai la date précise de sortie très bientôt.

Afin de vous mettre un peu l'eau à la bouche , voici quelques superbes pages...

Ca vaut la peine d'attendre un peu , non?

Purtroppo, l'uscita è stata rinviata a fine estate, per un ritardo degli autori.
Incovenienti di routine ! Niente panico, quindi, se non lo trovate nelle librerie a luglio, eh?
Perché il primo libro di questa bellissima serie , sarà nelle vostre mani solo in autunno.
Vi diro la data d'uscita esatta molto presto.

Per mettervi un po' l'aqualina in bocca, ecco qui delle bellissime tavole.

* Around the same time, september 22, another important book, for another collection I manage: the Venusdea Label. I have followed for more than two years is being released.
On the BLOG you will find some more information if you're interested.
It's the great Art Book by Nicoletta Ceccoli "Beautiful Nightmares": the first true collection of all of her works.
And I have to admit that it took much work and effort, for Nicoletta, me and the two graphic artists, Zoe Lacchei and Roberto Mattiucci and for Soleil Editions.
The whole book was taken apart and built again twice, can you imagine?
Because the important thing for us is that it's perfect.
I would like to show you, then, as total sneak preview, the gorgeous cover page.

The book will be made of 136 pages for a selling price of 34,50 EUR.

Some info about the manifacture, for those who are interested:
- cover: title, author's name and venusdea logo will be hotprint (matt black)
The decorations you can see will be in shiny selective transparent paint. The final outcome should be very elegant, then, as you are, I'm so looking forward to having my first copy!
I will make some pictures and you'll be the first ones to see it live.

* Durant la même période , esactement le 22 septembre, sortira un autre livre important que j'ai suivi depuis plus de deux ans , mais au sein d'une autre collection que je dirige : la Label Venusdea.
Si cela vous intéresse , vous trouverez des informations plus complète sur le BLOG du même nom.

Il s'agit du magnifique Art Book de Nicoletta Ceccoli "Beautiful Nightmares" : Le véritable et tout premier recueil de toutes ses oeuvres.
Je dois vous dire que cela nous a pris à tous , Nicoletta , aux deux graphistes Zoe Lacchei et Roberto Mattiucci , à Soleil et à moi-même beaucoup de temps et d'énergie.
Le livre a été entièrement remaquetté deux fois , imaginez un peu!
Pour nous il est important qu'il soit parfait...
Voici donc , en avant-première absolue , la superbe couverture de l'ouvrage.

Le format est de 136 pages , pour un prix de vente de 34,50 euros.

Quelques infos de fabrication pour qui est intéressé:
-Couverture , titre , nom de l'auteur , et logo Venudea seront imprimé au fer à chaud (en noir opaque). Les décorations que vous pouvez voir seront en vernis sélectif , transparent et brillant. Le rendu final devrait avoir un aspect très élégant , j'attends donc avec beaucoup d'anxiété de recevoir le premier exemplaire!
À peine reçu , je ferai des photos et vous serez les premiers à le voir.

* Nello stesso periodo , esattamente il 22 settembre, uscirà un altro libro importante che ho seguito da più due anni, ma con un altra collezione che dirigo : la label Venusdea
Sul BLOG avete qualche altra info in più se vi interessa.
Si tratta del magnifico Art Book di Nicoletta Ceccoli "Beatiful Nightmares" : la prima e vera raccolta completa di tutte le sue opere.
E devo dire che ci ha preso a tutti quanti, a Nicoletta , a me e ai due grafici Zoe Lacchei e Roberto Mattiucci e alle Edizioni Soleil, molto lavoro e fatica.
Il libro è stato smontato e rifatto ben 2 volte, immaginate.
Perchè per noi è importante che sia perfetto.

Vorrei mostrarvi quindi , in anteprima assoluta, la bellissima copertina.

Il libro sarà formato da 136 pagine a un prezzo di vendita di 34,50 euro.

Qualche info di fabbricazione , per chi fosse interessato :
- cover : il titolo, nome dell'autore e il logo venusdea sarà stampato a ferro a caldo ( nera opaco).
Le decorazioni che potete vedere , saranno in vernice selettiva trasparente brillante.
La resa finale, dovrebbe essere molto elegante, quindi, e come voi, sto' aspettando con molta ansia la mia prima copia !

* And at last, the latest book for the Métamorphose Collection was issued: "Daisies" by
Claire Wendling !
It's been out in bookshops for 2 weeks already, unfortutanely I only have had the time now to take some pictures of the book...
In fact, I think it's important to show you the quality of this object too, in particular for this one. So, here you can see a detail the hot print impression near the title: white on white.
We tried to stay sober and elegant for the cover, and I really hope you love it too!

Dans les librairies da deja 2 semaines, malheureusement j'ai trouvé le temps seulement maintenant pour faire des photo du livre....
Je trouve, en fait, qu'il est important de vous montrer la qualité de l'objet aussi.
Ici, donc, un détail de l'impression au fer a chaud , près du titre: blanc sur blanc.
Nous avons cherchés de rester sobres et élégants pour la couverture et j'espère sincerement que vous l'ayez aimée !

* E finalmente è uscito l'ultimo libro della Collezione Métamorphose : "Daisies" di Claire Wendling !
Da ben 2 settimane, ma ho trovato solo ora il tempo di fare 2 foto.
Trovo che è importante mostrarvi la qualità dell'opera, soprattutto per questo libro.
Qui, un dettaglio dell'impressione "a caldo" vicino al titolo : bianco su bianco.
Abbiamo cercato di restare sobri e eleganti per la copertina, spero che voi l'abbiate amata infatti.

A big book, like the ones which don't fit any bookshelf in fact... ;)

1° teasing Collection Métamorphose 2011/2012

* A foreword: I may look crazy to those who know me well, but every day new readers add to this blog .My personal Circus is a real mess, and I know it! But I like it this way..So for those who don't know me, every time I am more or less forced to make introductions again to make it easier to understand things, in particular for what concerns my extra work as artist...

To start with, like last year, then, I liked the idea of a real sneak preview of part of the books envisaged for the next 2 years for the Métamorphose Collection, a collection I created 3 years ago and I manage for Soleil Publisher, in addition to being an author of a comics series.

I worked a lot in these last months to understand which direction to take and to keep it. I widened the choice in styles (as you can see), but never forgetting the main theme: metamorphosis in all its facets...
So, new artists coming for show and new signed projects.
You can have a look here below of a sequence of unpublished and unique images regarding the new projects incoming for the Collection.
Most of them will be released in 2011, but some in 2012.
I hope you will fall in love with them like I did...
It is a great pleasure to work with artists and colleagues at this level, I swear!

*Avant tout chose un petit mot !
Je sais que je paraît folle poru ceux qui me connaissent bien , mais chaque jours de nouveaux lecteurs viennent s'ajouter à ce blog et mon cirque est un véritable bordel... (Je le sais bien..mais je l'aime ainsi!)
Pour ceux qui me connaissent moins bien , je suis à chaque fois obligée de refaire les présentations pour bien faire comprendre les choses , surtout celles concernant mes extras , c'est à dire les choses dont je m'occupe en dehors de mes travaux habituels d'auteur.

Donc pour commencer , comme j'ai déjà fais l'année précédente, j'aimais l'idée de vous présenter une vraie avant-première d'une partie des prochains titres à paraître dans les deux ans à venir qui seront dans la Collection Métamorphose. Une collection que j'ai créé il y a 3 ans et que je dirige aux Éditions Soleil.
J'ai beaucoup travaillé ces derniers mois pour comprendre quelle direction prendre et quel cap maintenir. J'ai beaucoup élargi le champs des styles (comme vous pouvez voir) , mais sans jamais oublier la thématique principale : la métamorphose sous toutes ses différentes facettes...

Donc , un arrivage de nouveaux artistes, et de nouveaux projets signés.

Vous pourrez admirez ci-dessous tout une séquence d'images inédites et uniques de nouveaux projets qui viennent donc rejoindre la collection.
La majeure partie d'entre eux sortira en 2011 , et certains en 2012.
J'espère que , comme moi , vous en tomberez vite amoureux...
Je dois dire que c'est un réel plaisir de travailler avec des artistes et amis d'un tel niveau , je vous le garantis!

* A still top-secret project, both for its title and theme, but I can already tell you who the artist is: the talented Maly Siri. This here is already one of the images included her book.

* Un progetto ancora top secret , per tematica e titolo, ma posso dirvi già chi è l'artista: la bravissima Maly Siri.Questo che vi presento è già una delle illustrazioni che faranno parte del suo libro.

* Un projet encore top secret concernant son titre et sa thématique , mais je peux déjà vous dire qui en est l'auteur : La très talentueuse Maly Siri. L'illustration ci-dessus fera partie du livre à venir.

* Another project not really to be disclosed too much for what concerns title and images, but I cannot share the happiness that Kei Acedera and Bobby Chu will make their next book for Métamorphose indeed!
The style? Well, what you can admire here in this beautiful illustration which Kei had previously made for an expo at the Arludik gallery (Paris) for the release of "Alice" by Tim Burton, in which Kei herself and Bobby were character designer.
It is going to be a "young readers" book, and the story is really, really funny...
I'm looking forward to it!

* Autre projet dont je ne peux encore une fois de plus divulguer ni le titre ni les images , mais dont je ne peux en revanche m'empêcher de vous faire partager ma joie ; en effet Kei Kei Acedera etd Bobby Chu réaliserons bien , leur prochain ouvrage pour Métamorphose!
Le style dont il sera question? Et bien celui - là même que vous pouvez admirer sur cette splendide illustration que Kei avait faite pour une expo à la galerie Arludik (Paris) pour la sortie d'Alice" de Tim Burton , film sur lequel Bobby et elle-même avaient réalisé le character design.
Il s'agira d'un livre "jeunesse" , et l'histoire est vraiment très très amusante...Je me languis!

In 2011 the sequel of the beautiful "ECO" by Guillaume Bianco and Jeremie Almanza will finally be released. The series is meant to be made up of 3 books.
A real jewel of the Collection evidently, as the first edition release was sold out in less than 6 months! So, like it happened for "Billy Brouillard" (it got used to it now) and "Les Contes Macabres d'Edgar Allan Poe", also "ECO" will have a re-print soon! Thank to everybody then. For those who don't know it yet (it's no good, it really isn't!) you can find more info HERE .
If you still haven't bought it, the very last copies of the first edition are available at the Fnac website HERE.
Hurry up, then, because they will soon be sold out!

En 2011 sortira finalement le magnifique ECO de Guillaume Bianco et Jeremie Almanza , la série est toujours prévue en trois livres...Il s'agira là du deuxième tome.
Un vrai petit bijou de la collection évidemment , vu que l'intégralité du premier tirage a été épuisé en moins de 6 mois! Tout comme "Billy Brouillard" (désormais abonné à cet état de fait , eh eh...) , et les "Contes macabres d'Egar Allan Poe" , ECO sera très bientôt réimprimé! Donc merci à vous tous!
Pour qui ne connaîtrait pas encore cet ouvrage (c'est pas bien!) vous trouverez quelques infos ICI. Si vous ne vous l'êtes pas encore procuré , certains sont encore disponibles ICI, sur le site de la FNAC , les tous derniers exemplaire de la première édition...

* Another project I would like to keep secret for a while still. But the idea we thought, this author and I, is... awesome!
A dream come true, thanks to a common passion for a particular literary period. The artist is the great Enrique Corominas.

* Un autre projet que je voudrais garder secret quelques temps encore.
Mais l'idée du sujet que nous avons trouvé l'auteur et moi est....Énorme!
Un rêve qui se réalise enfin grâce à un amour que nous avons en commun pour une période littéraire bien spécifique...
Concernant l'auteur , il s'agit du grand Enrique Corominas.

* A small and due particular: the images I have shown you are not all part of the incoming projects for the Collection.
Still missing "Dans La Fôret" by Lionel Richerand, one project by Nenent, two gorgeous one-shot by Tony Sandoval and Joshua Middleton , and last but not least, a huge big project (it will be a titan's work both for me and for him) by Benjamin Lacombe.
But I will talk more about this next summer.
Meanwhile the paper Catalogue of the Collection needs setting up (poor me...). So readers and book sellers will have something to keep and check from time to time...

Anf... it's tiresome to make posts like this... But I hope you will be enthusiast for the next months!
